Playtime Swing Sets F.A.Q.

Playtime Swing Sets FAQs
What is a "Gym"? Gyms, also called "forts" and "towers", are the central play platform of Creative Playthings Wooden Swing Sets and Play Systems. Large gym platforms measure 5' x 7'across, medium ones 5' x 5', and small ones 4' x 4'. Most of the gyms are 5' off the ground.

What is a "Swing Set"? The Swing Set is the portion of the system that actually holds the swings and other swing accessories. It connects to the gym on one side and is supported by several supports on the other side.

What is a "Play System"? A Play System refers to the overall combination of Gym, Swing Set, Standard Features, and Accessories that will be delivered to your home.

How are Playtime Swing Sets Play Systems installed? We provide curbside delivery to your home. You may install the Play System yourself with an adult helper or you may contract a playground installer in your area. Rates and fees for this service vary.

Are Playtime Swing Sets Play Systems anchored to the ground? YES! A very important safety issue! All residential systems MUST be firmly anchored to the ground using our ground stakes.

What is your "Basic Pine System"? The Playtime series is also known as our Basic Pine System, is also made of NatureWood® Southern Pine.

What is the difference between a "Residential" Play System and a "Commercial" Play System? The easiest way to answer this question is to simply say that Residential Play Systems are designed to be used exclusively on the property of single family homes. ALL OTHER applications are commercial. Multi Family Homes, schools, Day Care Centers, municipal parks, camps, restaurants, public green spaces, etc
