Since 1951, Creative Playthings had been creating top-quality wooden swing set play systems for thousands of families just like yours. Creative Playthings has a solid reputation, built on 50 years of providing our customers quality wood play products at great prices. In the early years, we were a primary supplier of wooden play products to schools, day care centers and other institutions. From our beginning as a small woodworking operation to our modern production facilities encompassing multiple plants with the latest automated equipment, one thing has stayed the same, our commitment to quality, safety and innovation. Creative Playthings pioneered the use of steel reinforcement plates in swing sets, the nylon bushing swing hanger, and other innovations too numerous to mention.
Today, these features and components are standard equipment on nearly all quality wooden swing sets Long recognized for their superior quality and value, Creative Playthings brand swing sets have been sold by national chains and high-quality independent retailers throughout the US and abroad. It is safe to say that there are more Creative Playthings brand swing sets in backyards than any other make. As an active member of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), Creative Playthings helped develop the safety standards for residential swing sets that are used today by both the ASTM and  Consumer Product Safety Commission (CSSC). Our sets are built to these exacting standards. When a play set carries the Creative Playthings logo, you can be sure it includes the finest materials and workmanship. Molded Plastic Steps
Our innovative molded plastic steps provide the largest flat surface area for easy climbing. The industry exclusive design also offers additional hand gripping for added safety.
Sturdy Angle Braces
All of our Gym uprights are braced to the platform in two directions. This extra support keeps the Play Set rock solid through years of hard play.
Double Beams
Laminated top ladder rails provide resistance to swaying and are less prone to checking that rails made from a single piece of timber.
More Standard Equipment
Three and four position Play Systems come with a Back-to-Back Glider as standard equipment. This accessory develops coordination and teamwork as children learn to swing together.
Safety Handles
Creative Playthings offers Hand Grips as standard equipment on all Play Systems. These comfortable grips provide a sure hold and aid children in making the transition from the ladder to the platform.
Smooth Wooden Dowels
All our top and end ladders feature high-quality wood dowels for sure grip and footing. They are warmer and do not become slippery with moisture as metal dowels do.
Recessed Hardware
Our hardware is recessed drilled and covered with our own color- coordinated plastic caps that fit flush with the wood's surface.
Creative Playthings Warranty
Creative Playthings takes pride in the hand workmanship and quality materials used throughout the entire product line. This swing set is made of #1 grade southern yellow pine, pressure treated to resist insect and water decay then redried after treatment. The swing sets are molded to a precise dimension, cut to length, stained, drilled and made ready for assemble. All hardware is plated with yellow zinc dichromate for longevity, and the Creative Playthings fastening system eliminates exposed threads.
Easy to follow assembly instructions and a complete hardware package are included with each swing set, and as mentioned above, all merchandise has the Creative Playthings 10 year warranty to the original purchaser.
Subject to normal use, Creative Playthings warrants to the original purchaser that all products be free from workmanship defects for a period of one year from the date of original purchase. The lumber in Basic Pine sets is covered by a 10 year warranty. All warranties are to the original owner and cover against wood rot and insect damage. Within a 30-day period Creative Playthings will repair or replace defective merchandise free of charge, provided that the defective part be returned for inspection, freight collect. Creative Playthings will return the part freight prepaid. After the 30-day period, return the defective part freight prepaid and Creative Playthings will ship it back to you freight collect. The place of original purchase must be contacted for authorization to return the defective part. No merchandise will be accepted without prior written approval from Creative Playthings to the place
of original purchase, which will contain an authorization number. All returns must be accompanied by a dated proof of purchase.
It is the customer's responsibility to perform regular inspections and maintenance to ensure that the product is not prematurely aging. These inspections should include an evaluation of the stained finish, all ropes, chains, hardware and wooden components. A complete listing of replacement parts is available through your Creative Playthings dealer.
This Limited Warranty does not cover the labor or cost of labor for replacement of the defective item; the cost of freight after the initial 30-day period; any incidental or consequential damages, cosmetic defects who do not affect the structural integrity of the unit; items damaged due to vandalism, acts of God, improper usage, improper installation or other abnormal conditions. Seasonal checks and surface cracks are natural characteristics of all outdoor wooden play equipment, and are not considered defects nor covered under this warranty. Creative Playthings cannot assume any responsibility for modification to, or accessories added to these products, other than those sold by Creative Playthings, Ltd.
This warranty covers residential installations and is not designed for commercial applications. This warranty gives you specific legal rights which vary from state to state. This warranty excludes all consequential damages. Some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
