The Rolli-Rider is a self-powered, sit-down riding coaster intended for children between two and six years old. This handcrafted balancing riding toy teaches children to balance a two-wheeler long before they are ready to ride a bicycle. When old enough to ride a bicycle, Rolli-Rider provides plenty of confidence that training wheels should not be necessary. This toy was designed to meet or exceed the requirements of ASTM F 963-03 "Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety" (ASTM stands for the American Society for Testing Materials). However, with safety there is no substitute for proper adult supervision, guidance, common sense, and protective gear (particularly a helmet). Children quickly learn to stabilize and balance because their feet are on the ground or just above the surface. Two to six year old children can now safely master the skill of balancing while having fun the old fashion way, one step at a time.
